MANAGING DIRECTOR
Juan Moore BA FCIS

Juan Moore has been an associate member of the Chartered Governance Institute since 2004, and a Fellow since 2017. Juan was appointed President of the Isle of Man Branch in 2022. His extensive experience working in the finance sector includes six years as CEO of the Isle of Man Law Society.

During his career Juan has:

  • Worked directly with high-net-worth clients.
  • Worked closely with various boards including as a Director.
  • Focused on relationship building with clients and third parties.
  • Undertaken full, corporate reviews and successfully introduced good governance frameworks.
  • Managed reputation risk for a large organisation.
  • Engaged extensively with the press.
  • Worked closely with the FSA.
  • Overseen financial management of various organisations.
  • Worked with various Government Departments on external boards and committees.These have included:
    •  The AML/CFT Advisory Group.
    •  Court user groups.
    •  The Criminal Justice Board.
  • Assisted the Legal Aid Committee.
  • Worked closely with the Minister for Reform and Change.
  • Responded to Government consultations.
  • Assisted the Cabinet Office in the National Risk Assessment.
  • Attended meetings with national and supranational bodies including MoneyVal, EU Taxe3 Committee and a UK Parliamentary delegation.
